5 Uses in Speech Therapy Sessions:

1. Quick Artic Drill

First and foremost, is there a better way to get 100 trials during your quick articulation speech therapy or mixed groups?!

100 trials is always my goal for my students working on speech sounds and they ALL want to use this popper when it's their turn to practice in their articulation sessions!

2. Assign specific words to each row or column

Easily get 10 trials at a time by adding specific targets, words, or phrases to each row or column. This is an easy way to get as many trials as possible in your articulation speech therapy sessions!

Psst....Don't worry, we have already done the hard work for you!! When you buy this hundred popper from My Speech Shop, you also get a FREE 86-page file with no-prep worksheets that align perfectly with this pop-it toy. Designed to make your articulation speech therapy planning easy!

3. Multisyllabic Words

Use the popper to count syllables for your students working on decreasing syllable reduction or phonological awareness in your articulation speech therapy sessions!

Grab some mini bugs or zoo animals to work with some familiar multisyllabic words!

"Grasshopper has 3 syllables - try again and make sure you pop three bubbles!"

4. Language Goals

Consider using this pop-it with your language groups

  • Assign a color for a different part of speech. Make silly sentences as you move down the pop it!
  • Assign a row for category names. Can you name 10 items in a category?
  • Assign a color for wh-questions. Can you answer 10 "what" questions about the pictures before we leave the speech room? Work together to try to answer as many questions as possible!

5. Add Some Mini Objects

When all else fails, add some mini objects to your sessions! Use the popper to contain mini objects like gems, mini erasers, or even animals. Use as a reinforcer or for following directions in your speech therapy session:

"The cat wants to sit in a red bubble!"
